Btw, are the arcrylic colors used in modeling the same as the one you use for painting? I found some painting arcrylics in the storage room and was wondering if I could use them.

i use lacquer paints, mostly. easy to erase with a thinner but lacquer based paint is quite toxic especially with air brushing... that's why I don't use lacquer based paint but acrylic... you can use enamel on acrylic paint once it's completely cured with care...

I think wala namang paint na unscratchable que enamel o acrylic. Although, I think that Acrylic would be the more resilient one when it comes to scratches. To prevent paint from getting scratched, some advices I've heard say that applying a clear coat would help prevent or lower the chance on the paint getting scratched.

Currently doing acrylic then adding a clear lacquer coating at the most. I guess I'll just experiment with enamels. Thanks for the replies.
