dati gamit ko rin nail cutter, put later found out mas ok yung nail nipper, that's more likely a miniturized na side cutter. hanap ka lang talaga nung flat yung blades, meron kasi medyo angled. ;D at with a cheap price of 100 or less, you can just get a new one kung mapurol na, or pahasa mo dun sa naglalakd na mang hahasa. although medyo ma question lang ang pagka macho mo nun. hehehehe

r2d2t2sir it's just based on real experience po. kahit nga nung nag hahanap ako sa shop ng bueaty products looking fo a good set of nippers, wala akong mahanap na flat, so i asked pa sa sales lady, aba ang bruha tinataasan ako ng kilas at tiningnan ng medyo kakaiba. sabi ko na lang for my sister. . .

V2yup! i second that, pero kung makalyo na rin daliri nyo eh, you can use yung small scissors ng victorinox swiss knife na maliit, and tibay, kaya lang masakit kasi liit lang handle eh, pero clean cut rin sya at matagal mapurol. . .

hi ulit mga bros. it's 1240am na... gising pa rin ako... medyo bored at wala sa mood kaya post-post lang muna ako dito... sana ok lang...
nweiz, on to the topic of side cutters...
i use the cutter from Bandai. bought it around P350 or P400 ata. can't remember... ;D hmmm... there's Bandai again... i think all the people at Bandai is sure is RICH.
after you cut the sprues, do you sand it pa? i tried using those emery boards from watsons. ok naman ang outcome. cheap pa at P29.75 per packs.

yup tried that bandai side cutters, it's pretty good, although medyo madali rin mapuro. and it's a little bit pricey if you buy them ulit agad. so like sir v2, use a nipper, which is cheaper so pwede kang bili ng bili para sa laigng matalas, sa pag trim mo. then for me i used a scalpel for the final retouch. hhmm come to think of it, better get a new side cutter at baka maubusan pa ng stcok sa sm tk. . .

@snap paano bang angle sinasabi mo? mismong yung blade nya? or oientation lang ng cutter? try looking for manicure sets, usually flat kasama dun kasi yun yung as in generics eh, plus you get a pusher (which pwede mong pahasa kay manong para tumalas and act like an xacto) and some files. me lalagyan pa. . .

ah ok curve ends. iba nga yan, and check mo rin if talagang flat yung blade like the side cutters, malimit kasi eh medyo 'angle' yung blade, kung baga nakapalabas, hindi sya flat, kasi that's much safer to use for nails talaga.

@ ikabod and xentar. thanks sa info. siguro magpapabili na lang ako sa friend kong babae. medyo tinataasan ka nga ng kilay pag nagtatanong ka. and may tawag silang term for the flat nipper. it would be better talaga na maghanap ng taong alam ang tools niya. well thanks. info na lang ulit kung may makakita ng good cutting tools dyan
