experiment with pastel and washing... and ask for the advice if you know someone who's into military modelling this is one of my best weathering I've done so far... and bugged mate of mine for countless times for the tips/advice/etc.

nice paint job indeed i also like the weathering though the finish is a little off. The finish is glossed but u have a weathered kit. Well we all have our preferences.

well it wasn't so much of preferences but rather I only had glossy top coat at that time. and same sotry with my ZetaPlus A1 painted in C1 colour scheme... and now I only have semi-gloss ones - have to wait till next month when I have enough money to get some of flat ones when missus would let me

darn how i wish i could paint like that. . . very cool work! well after you finished paint followed with top coat then you can experiment with weathering techniques and depends on the type of paint if you screw up you can wipe out and to start over once you are happy with it lock 'em with another top coat - if it's final coat use flat or semi glossy top coat and don't use lacqure based top coat as I've heard it can get yellow when exposed to sun light another thing I've heard is mixing tiny drops of blue with base white to prevent it becoming yellowish... heard from the military modellers but yet to try it myself
