darn how i wish i could paint like that. . . very cool work! don't use lacqure based top coat as I've heard it can get yellow when exposed to sun light Really? What do those people do with their painted kits? Play with em in broad daylight or display them in direct sunlight? Just a question though cause I haven't experienced that yellow thingy even if my painted kits are 5 years old.

Where can we get Future in Cebu and what brand flattener do you use? When you take pics of your Gundams, is it a requirement that your digicam have "macro" capability?

for future and its many different names in each countries have a look at here. and for the photo taking well you will be needing the macro if you put the lens a centimetre away from the model otherwise have a read here...

dj898: dude, tnx for the info bout Future, i've been searching for it in the longest time (even during my armor days a decade ago or so). at least now, i know the alternatives. tnx bro i have a few more questions: 1. i know future is applied with an airbrush, what can you use as thinner for it? 2. what can i use or add with Future to make it matte or semi gloss? 3. is bare plastic gonna yellow in time? bare as in unpainted or uncoated with clear paint. tnx in advance

the yellow-ing issue...
is it true that even how many times you protect it... coated it... if it's plastic, still it will turn yellow in time, right?
i guess, the best protection for it is not to display it in direct sunlight.
hope that helps.

And to get things back on the track since this thread is about taking photo below are the sets of photo I took using one Halogen desk lamp under flouesent lighting on the ceiling with Cannon PowerShot G3 on the tripod. I used the self timer to take the shot to avoid the shake and no flash apart from desk lamp. The photos were taken at the kitchen after everyone went to bed. ^ ^ MG Zaku F2MG Zaku F2MG Gundam OYWMG Gundam OYWGuys post your new photos!!! ^ ^
