@carlo no prob, carlo. just helping out a fellow gundamers. 'besides, pinagdaanan ko din yan'. i'm sure you'll do also the same to fellow newbies.
neodark personally, i like the Family White from Pylox. not too white. and not too creamy looking. more of like a gundam metal for me. but if you like white white, i think you have to use Pylox Gloss White. but if you put it a flat topcoat afterwards, expect that the whiteness will fade a little.

flat-top coat brands dont matter that much right as long as its for plastic and same chemical with the base color

you can try the brand PAINTER'S TOUCH Matte Finish.
regarding on Freedom's blue, sorry but i can't recommend any, cause i didn't paint my MG Freedom before. you could try Cobalt Blue or just plain Blue.

well this hobby is very hard for people who have tight budget like us. hehe. i can hardly invest on one modeling instrument a month. anyway i think ace hardware sells primers in can. just get the thin primer and ask them if it works on plastic... around 200php on one can... i used that primer on my tamiya 4wd. was ok. it did cover scratches from its past races. good side. very cheap... ;D its on a yellow can me thinks.... ps.. do try it on sprues 1st. so we dont mess up. just to be safe. and sand it too. primer is a bit thick and i agree with you 100% neodark. more affordable sources is the thing for Gunpls modellers on a tight budget.

Heres what i got.. Rj Dull Lacquer for top coat Rj Grey Primer Pylox Pure White ( 100 Pure white ) Im still looking for a vibrant red and anyone got an idea on what the blue the freedom sports.. and what color is its body exactly... coz i had in mind that i might repaint it with a flat black including that dark color on the wings.. how much time does a primer need to cure? I also have this question whats the easiest way to do that red inside.. hand brushing and masking or spray paint and masking ?
