I'll try to use the other Gundam markers I have on paneling. I guess, the Sumiire Gray (in gundamstoreandmore, they noted it as fine point) it's better than the fine point enamel gundam markers (black, gray, brown), since when you wipe it off, it will not make the kit messy and I say easy clean up, eventhough the fine point has "Fine tip" point on it, it's hard for me to clean it up and it's wide when put on the lines...

Actually, you need a white pencil eraser to erase the GM01 black, GM02 gray, and GM03 brown fine point markers. The GM01 black is available in Lil's park square makati and in megamall

wait. so this one is better than the fine point Gundam Marker? it can perform a much thinner panel lining since it is easily wipe off yung excess and because you it can be smudged you can do a weathering effect.

IMHO, as long as your primer and paint are the same type, there shouldn't be a problem regardless of what brands you use.

Primers are usually lacquer/solvent based. Yes it's safe to use acrylic or enamel over it.

@seelei ey bro, thanks! and thanks rin for a great deal on the a/b, it works fine. . . can't wait for the sun to shine so i could hone my skills on a/b painting. i asked a car painter and he told me i can't used enamel based primer with acrylics, either laquer or expoy based primers lang daw for acrylics, so now i know it's a laquer base primer itong tamiya surface primer. yehey! salamat ulit. . .

what's the best silver-type-brass-kind-gloss-paint to use for gundam's exhaust/nozzles/booster/legs hydraulics? industrial paints sana like Pylox, Nikko, etc. 'coz i don't have an AB. if bottled paints naman, strokes will be obvious with metallic colors. TIA. ;D
here's some sample pictures: feet/leg boosters | backpack boosters | hydraulics

alclad II lacquer paints gives the best metal finish(but they're very very expensive). In general, I think GSI mr. color is pretty good. they also make the 'super metallic' series
