already watched it. it's great! you'd need around 30-mins of your time though to watch all the parts. (5, I think.) it(we) could benefit from some subtitles also.

just wondering.... do you really cut off the male parts on the kits? the parts where you connect the two pieces together like they did on the video?

actually they do advise doing that, so you can easily remove again the parts. they do this for snap-fitting stage. before they decide if they're gonna paint it, mod it, or not. it's not a cut straight thing, it's more of cutting in diagonal direction. i saw this before in some mags, and i don't know why they're doing it, but later on, i understand that it's easier to remove again the parts if you do that to the male portion of the connectors.
hope that helps.

I'm wondering how much do you cut off.... or is this just a personal preference sort of thing?

just as long that it's easy to pull the pieces seperately. besides, if you're done snap-fitting and on to your plan for mod, paints, etc. you're still going to glue the pieces back together, di ba? so even though you cut a big part on the male connector, you'll still end up gluing them together.

u cut the male part if you're going to cement the pieces together. otherwise, u'll risk making the parts loose.
