Just watched Pirates yesterday and I can say that its not that good...the 1st 2 pirates sequels are better than this one...too many talking here and there...

Got to watch Shrek the third too. IMO, Shrek 2 was funnier. There're a lot more jokes and catches phrases you'll remember from the 2nd movie than the 3rd. Also got to see the TF movie trailer! Just awesome! ;D
Still haven't seen Pirates....will make time this week to watch it.

Filipino thriller finds "Echo" in Hollywood

Jesse Bradford has signed to star in "The Echo," a remake of the acclaimed Filipino thriller "Sigaw."

The "Flags of Our Fathers" veteran plays a young ex-con who moves into an old apartment building only to learn his neighbor is an abusive police officer who savagely beats his wife and daughter. When the ex-con tries to intervene, he becomes trapped in a curse.

Yam Laranas, who co-wrote and directed "Sigaw," is directing the movie. Shooting is scheduled to begin mid-August in Toronto. The film is being fully financed by venture capitalist Robert Hoff.

In addition to starring in Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers," Bradford also appeared in Don Roos' "Happy Endings."

just saw Silver Surfer! i mean Fantastic 4. Jessica Alba rocks! Just seeing JA in action, everything else is a bonus.

not a bad movie i must say. Silver Surfer is very kewl. makes me wanna dig through my old marvel cards.

Heads Up: DO NOT leave just yet when you see the ending credits. Kinda like in X-Men

oh, and stan lee had a dialogue in this one. haha. funny.

I just saw FF4 2 yesterday with my wife and its a good movie. Its definitely better than the first one. Silver Surfer is really deadon with regards to its likeness in the comic. Probably the best cameo of Stan Lee. The only thing I dont like it how Jessica Alba looks. She's had a better hair day. Dr. Doom is amazing he's much closer to the comic book now with regards to his look.

Last movie seen on DVD last weekend:

- Mr. Bean Holiday - a funny movie with heart.
- Vacancy - Your typical horror film but with a little twist.
- Evan Almighty - a good second serving of the film. A must see. Its time to repent... really.
- Transformers - watched it a couple of times, the transformation sequence that is. Its really complex and a lot of cheating was involved.
