lol when i look at the casting of Dragon Ball i bet this will be an epic failure ...  i think im gonna pass on this one and wait for it to be released on DVD lol. ;D |

Chichi would be the girl to watch on this film but yeah, I think it's another "trying hard" Western version of what should be a great anime. sigh....

Well, the good news is that the producers decided to push back the movie a full year. It was originally due this Aug 2008, they moved it to Aug 2009. Hopefully they'll have added more effects or visuals by then.  Gold |

I'm so afraid to watch this movie, Im so afraid I'll get disappointed by the graphics and the special affects. Like the Hulk in 2003, it sucked. But the Hulk this 2008 was GREAT, Good Job Stan Lee.
But I'm such a huge Fan of DBZ, I prey to god the movie won't turn us off like the Hulk did back in 2003, remember that feeling after the movie was over, even like Speed-Racer, the graphics sucked.
Lets have faith in Goku haha.

The Philippine release date is tentatively on the 2nd week of April 2009, just after the holy week.

I prey to god the movie won't turn us off like the Hulk did back in 2003, remember that feeling after the movie was over, even like Speed-Racer, the graphics sucked. That Hulk movie wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either... I once saw a copy where Hulks ass was popping on and off because the grafix for his pants didn't "jive" well enough (repaired in final version) ;D The sad thing about DBZ is when you read reactions on the movie were like "thankfully they removed the weird hairdos and other annoying stuff". Hopefully this will not be a disappointing movie... |

When I heard the plans for a live action DBZ, my reaction was like...
ZOMGWTFBBQChuckNorris?!?!
Well, I guess we'll just have to see how it fares when it hits theaters next year...
