Thanks people! It's very hard to find materials here in Abu Dhabi so I have to be resourceful. Paints and stuffs are difficult to find and usually I have to go here and there looking for things I need. Legend is the first kit I painted and I'm like custom painting it cause I don't want it to look very chrome/silvery shiny. Most of the materials in the picture were bought in Pinas and those little paints. Luckily, I found some 1000 grit sandpapers in a local harware store but it took me days to find them. I also found some things I need in an electronic shop like some 0.6 & 0.8 drill bits and precision tweezers. Although you can buy airbrush here nereby (generic brand and only "one" shop in all Abu Dhabi) paint, thinners and the likes are not available. You can buy iwata airbrush somewhere in Dubai (2 hours drive by bus and I still have to find it). Well, I guess people are not into building model kits here. If I only have the proper tools I know I can build better kits because of the experience I have in arts. Even if I want to buy more kits and stuffs I haven't tried online shopping (I can have as many as three credit cards here and I don't know/lazy/reluctant/ how to use it dammit!). If somebody is comming from Pinas I'd just ask the guy to buy the kits from me and pay him here. Will be coming home next march so I'm gonna be shopping spree RainerO: Thanks pre. Come to think of it, I never thought that you still don't have your own thread!! zankuro: Thanks bro. I'm still thinking of the materials I need on the falcon (and where to get them, geez) @qb: Thanks dude. Actually I'm not planning to make it look silver. I just painted it chrome and then make the chrome dull by using tools. Did some minor mods also if you noticed. kingferic & immaterial: Thanks to both of you. Yeah, good luck to me. I just painted the gray parts only. Still no paints/materials I need for the other colors. @shinn: Thanks pre. I don't really know what took me. Most of the kits there are few years back (I was just a lurker here). Maybe I'm just waiting to make my collection bigger.. I don't know... But I have lots of anime series collection in avi formats. I'm not really rushing my Legend, taking it really nice and slow

yup. noticed the drilled holes on the shoulder armour.... and did you also place pla plates? it's looking pretty nice. i guess it's just the picture that's making it look glittery silver. looking forward to the finished product!
