crufodiangi think what bro Pilapz meant by the "regular ones" are the basic/regular releases of the MG Strike Freedom and Destiny Gundams. If you look at the reviews posted by GN, you'd be able to spot the differences between the regular and Full burst modes of Strike Freedom. Same way with Destiny. well, based on feedback of some modellers, the complaint is with the plated parts on the internal frames of the FBM and EBM. Having plated parts on a kit make them harder to paint as you would need to strip the plated parts first before applying the paint, otherwise, the paint won't stick. Plus plated parts chip off in time. first off, do you plan to paint your kits? if not, and you just plan to snapbuild them, go for the FBM and EBM due to the extra parts for added effects on your display. if you do plan to paint them, are you willing to go through the extra effort needed to strip the parts and then paint? lastly, what really matters in getting toys/kits is that if you like them and have the means to get them, go. in the end, it's your collection and it's your opinion on the toys/kits you get that matters. the only way i see that you'd end up regretting buying something is if you never really liked it in the first place. just my two cents.

hi! thanks for the info. first off, do you plan to paint your kits? if not, and you just plan to snapbuild them, go for the FBM and EBM due to the extra parts for added effects on your display. for now i just want to snapbuild them and put on some panel lines. lastly, what really matters in getting toys/kits is that if you like them and have the means to get them, go. in the end, it's your collection and it's your opinion on the toys/kits you get that matters. the only way i see that you'd end up regretting buying something is if you never really liked it in the first place. just my two cents. i like them as long as it is gundam seed/destiny or wing series. my experience was when i bought a regular Strike Freedom 1/100(i think its HG) 4months ago, and when i am done snapbuilding it (no panel lines or painting done) the left wing @ the back and the railgun on the left is loose. it made me a little bit disappointed not on the model but on my choice of grade. that is why when sir PilapZ said that he had (not good) experience from the kits, i had to know for sure what is the problems for this kit so i can make a good decision on what grade to buy. :-) now that you mentioned it( the chipping off plated paint), i just finish assembling my 1/100 akatsuki, i guess i will buy some clear gloss top coat and paint it on my akatsuki. i hope that will prevent it from chipping. :-) thank you so much!!!

I've been very, veryyy curious about the MG F91 kit and I might plan on getting it. But there's one thing that bothers me, is it TOO small for an MG kit? I've seen some reviews in dalong.net and I noticed that some HGUCs barely have the same height as the MG F91.. Is it worth it for an MG kit?

crufodiang: what amigo qb said. hehehe. ;D of MG is the best way to go. i chose the regular versions instead because i think paying for the extra cash for plated parts is not worth it for me. it's just my opinion amigo. @intohimo: ahehehe. i guess F91 is the shortest MG as of now. there's nothing wrong with being short, right?

@intohimo it's a design "flaw" so to speak. in the anime, the mobile suits in F91 are really smaller compared to the mobile suit designs released in the past.
just to give you an idea: the head height of the RX-78-2 Gundam is 18.0 meters. the head height of the F91 Gundam is 15.2 meters.
since Bandai was aiming for anime-accuracy, it purposely made the F91 smaller to simulate the correct its scale when compared to past suits.

Is it worth it for an MG kit? i think the MG F91 is a good MG kit.. i think its the 1st polycapless MG that bandai released. so expect to have tight joints and other movable parts.. also the design is the F91 is cool especially the booster on the back and the head gimik.. plus it comes with the stand with V2's so called "hentai-cles".. ;D if you happen to watch the F91 anime.. it was also a question by one of the character in the series.. how come the F91 gundam is small.. i think 1 reason is because of budget constraints.. so if you are going to make a 1/1oo scale of the 15.2 meters F91 gundam.. more or less that's your Bandai F91 MG kit..

xentar, qb, and PilapZ Thank you so much guys for the replies! ;D Yeah, design and artillery, simply great . Well the height, I guess it isn't that bad I've also noticed it that some of the parts are UNpolycaped.. It may have tight joints, but wouldn't it get loose after a long period of time? A bit turned off with the included stand though. I don't like the tentacle stuff included in it .. Ill juz get a normal action base for this and keep the so called "hentai-cles" stand
