my sister & i watched a lot of animes since we were kids. uhm... since... Saturday Fun Machine  hehehehehe. we were exposed with a lot of animes since 1983 when we went to Japan. during that time, we were like 'ooh', 'aahhh' sa mga animes. syempre, di pa namin maintindihan gaano. basta flashy yung anime, oks na oks sa aming magkapatid.  nitong 'nagka-edad' na kami, pinanood namin ulit halos lahat via vhs, vcds, dvds & downloaded AVIs... we noticed one thing... "Un na un? Bakit halos lahat nang sikat na Animes puro bitin ang ending???""Kung hindi man bitin, laging 'rushed' ang ending nang series..."iba ba talaga ang mentality nang hapon kesa sa atin? o lagi tayong naghahanap nang 'Happy Ending'? now here's some of my list of so-called 'worst anime endings': 1. Neon Genesis Evangelion [+ the movies and OAV] 2. Gundam SEED Destiny [Episode 50] - after i watched the 'Final Plus' it surpassed the original ending for the SEED series. may closure kasi. 3. Gundam Char's Counterattack4. Z Gundam - di ko pa nabubuo. pero i heard, naging isip-bata daw si Camille in the end.  5. Samurai X6. Astroboy (2003)7. Macross Zero8. Macross II9. Macross Plus10. Ghost In The Shell Movies |

As for GITS and macross series, the story was ment to be... not all endings are happy ones. Macross zero has a reason why it has a bad ending... Its is conected to the SDF macross story. it will chance the story of the original MAcross if so. so its logical... but i have to agree with ya with sum of them. senceless tlaga.
For me? worst endings are:
Jin-ro
Samurai X ( OAV2)
Trinity blood.
GAtekeepers. ( lame ending.. very common)
Hunter X hunter(Its a good story but.. too many died for the most senceless reason.)

hi sir anakin. yup, i agree. macross zero is a prequel to the series. what bothers me that, medyo kulang lang siguro explanations sa conflict. di ko nga sure kung partly Zentraedi yung mga kalaban nina Roy Focker or kalaban lang sila sa productions nang valkyrie units? para kasing nagkaron nang another 'race' sa conflict. o mali lang siguro pag-intindi ko sa series na yun. hehehehe. ;D mapanood nga ulit. |

Ghost In The Shell Moviesin Gundam Zeta i dont think naging hindi naging batang isip si Camille Prats este si Bidan pala hehehe kungbaga nakomatose lang siya sa huli because of the fight with Paptimus Scirrocco. in Char Counter attack yah your right pero it needs to end the series in that way that they have killed both Char and Amuro para hindi na magkaron pa ng susunod na chapter yung dalawa .... |

It explains how they got the alien " protuculture tech." And secretly developing the SDF-1. And if you watch the SDF macross movie, it gives a bit more details about the culture.. its more like a side-story to roi focker and the VF tech.. also, its the reason why ww3 started. (agawan ng tech.) To arch: haha camille... I thoght it was john prats. ;D |

Ok. Worst endings. Here's mine, but when I say worst endings, in my opinion, endings which were VERY rushed, VERY crappy, unsatisfying, and did not do the series justice. Yung mga ending na kapag natapos mo na ung series e nababanas ka lang dahil nakakabwisit ung nangyari...- Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel) - Senseless na nga halos ung buong series, babanatan pa ng isang "destroy everything" type na ending ng ganun-ganun lang...
- Souseii no Aquarion - Another "reformat the world" ending. It was fun with Eva, it was better in RahXephon, but here it kinda felt, I dunno... Weird?
- Samurai 7 - Hindi ko maintindihan jung ano gusto palabasin nung mga story writers... In any case, I really don't like how this series ended up.
- Beyblade - Trying-hard to be very epic felt very corny...
- Gundam Seed Destiniy - Sorry, pero feeling ko, panget talaga ending nya e... The Final Plus makes it better to swallow, but given the huge expectations... Bleh!
Alam ko na rin ung tungkol sa ending ng mga ilang anime na bitin o parang kakaiba. However, I kinda understood what the Japanese were trying to do, in the sense that whatever happens next in the story is now up to how the viewers will want the story to end. Kumbaga, ung ending nung pinanood nyo, bahala na kayo ang umisip ng susunod dun... But, still, it's good to have closure in a story sometimes. Jya na! |

My worst anime endings  trinity blood hunter x hunter(this had a lot of potential, but went into a lot of tangents and couldnt get things together) evangelion shaman king (predictable) there's a lot more i'd like to add to the list..... but i'll say every Koreanovela ending i've ever waTChed.  |

The main problem with Hunter X Hunter having that type of ending is basicaly 'cause it isn't finished yet, I hear... Hopefully, it gets done, with a proper ending. I agree with your Koreanovela ending thing. But that's just me... Might anger some people if I go into depth.  Jya na! |

Deathnote..Light Yagami died in the end....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr yong ending! hahaha, but I was somehow glad he did. I'm still not sure who the girl in the final scene is. |

If you would me ask kung ano para sa 'kin 'yung medyo bad trip 'yung ending, i'd say Gundam SEED Destiny talaga. May mga bagay na hindi na-resolve dun sa story...na dahilan din nu'ng mga hindi nasagot na tanong sa Gundam SEED. In fact, maraming Japanese fans ang na-disappoint sa SEED series. Better read the manga na lang.
Isa pang bad trip na anime eh 'yung Hunter X Hunter, masyadong magulo. Ang nagustuhan ko lang halos eh 'yung story arc ng Genei Ryodan.
About Deathnote, if you watched the movie, pa**yet talaga kasi mabibitin ka talaga...unless you watched "Deathnote: The Last Name". Sa sequel tinapos na nila si Light to "pay for his sins" 'ika nga. By the way, 'yung girl sa final scene, si Misa Asano 'yun...'yung nakakuha nu'ng second Deathnote (ooops, spoiler! Gomene!)
Sa Samurai X: Reflections...yup, sad ang ending n'ya, a typical samurai-era plot. But according to some, medyo masama daw ang loob ni Nobuhiro Watsuki sa ginawa sa anime. Kasi sa manga, hindi naman namatay sila Kenshin and Kaoru. Oh well...
About EVA, sabi ng friend ko, panoorin ko daw 'yung "Death and Rebirth" para hindi daw ako mabitin sa story nu'ng series.
Isa pa pala 'yung Black Cat, malabo 'yung ending. Hindi nasagot kung buhay talaga si Saya o patay.

For me the yugi oh series.... Dont like the fact that yugi won against original yugi( forgot d name sorry... )those 3 lord of cards are quite unbeatable...the fight was not quite fair..(but then its cartoons heroes always wins).
And also Crush Gear.... Didn't like the story as well.... mas gusto ko pa yung Lets Go...

for me, tenhjo tenge had a crappy ending, then again the whole series seemed like the story had no sense of direction. i mean it started with a set of characters, then it went into a flashback with another set of characters, then when it went back to the present time, the main conflict was not resolved. if we were to follow the elements of a story, that doesnt even count as a story!
