Nice detailed tutorial dude!... I used to use the same gray marker but when I discovered the sumire gray is easier to clean, I shifted to it. Have you tried the sumire gray marker on painted kits? thanks, sir! sumire gray? not yet, where can I get it? thanks for sharing, too

great tutorial there bro! it even comes with pictures! very informative. do you plan to do a book too after the website? i agree that the scrape method is quite difficult so what I do is just smudge it with my fingers to "remove" the ink overflow. i;m not that good with a knife so this works for me. ;D a book?! lol ;D yes, scrape method is not advisable if you don't intend to paint your kit. scrape/sandpaper method is only advisable when your kit is painted because it'll be impossible to erase/finger smudge the overflowed ink on your kit. i still do all techniques of panelling (basic panelling, panelling + finger smudging/erasing, panel wash, mark and scrape), depending on the kit and my mood lol thanks again for reading watch out, i'll post more pictures on this kit...

really? i paint my kits and I still do the finger-smudge method. what i do though is i panel-line the kit after the first topcoat so the eraser/finger-smudge method works.
