other things that i noticed:
1. there are some fight scenes where the movement are a bit slow
2. there is no specific enemy like the sentai series
3. there are no footmen/minions or what ever you call them
4. they could have shown them during weekdays, in place of thundercats which only shows re-runs
i also still need to see how the robots are in the series.. i saw pics of the toys and frankly i don't like it.. but the series might change my mind.

I was able to get the Japanese version on CDs, so I have a bit of pre-CN information on this. I agree on some of what you've said, and here are my thoughts: 1. The fight scenes look like dance sequences. ;D *SPOILER* 2. The specific enemies will come out after episode 12, I think.
3. Footmen will also come out after episode 12.
*END OF SPOILER* 4. I totally agree with you on this!!! But I think they did this in order for whoever has the licence to sell toys to put them on the display shelves longer. The robots are ok, but the enemies look like from an old Godzilla movie. SGP |

the Japanese subbed version is better than the english version IMHO. Actually, compared to Sentai medyo malayo Gransazers compared don. The storyline of Gransazers is a bit slow and the mech battles aren't that fluid. One of my pet peeves is how Sazer Taragous only has one finishing move, the Burning Falcon. The story picks up at around episode number 40 and up and at this point they crammed every bit of deatil they could about the aliens and the storyline in the last 7-9 episodes! One character to look out for is Impactor Logia. He stole the show for me IMHO.

I was able to catch 3 episodes and i do find the story slow. Unfortunately, I couldnt keep a consistent following to it. The colors are nice though.  |
