i've seen a Cloud and Fenrir bootlegs before on one of the stores mentioned on this thread. the Fenrir looks ok (i'm not saying the Fenrir is genuine, though), but it's the Cloud figure is not. messed up hair. obvious mold cuts. face paints are messed up too. esp the eyes. materials used are also obvious na bootleg. and here's the bonus part... it costs around P6500+. that's a lot expensive from the orginal price. 
as bumrush said, the original has the Diamond Distributor logo (international releases) at the back of the box. ask Malvin too if he has some stocks at GT. try to call them. the number is posted at the main webpage. or look at the For Sale thread, baka merong nagbebenta. hope that helps, bro.

1. diamond distributor logo on the back. if its not there, its a bootleg.
2. the eyes - they have to be DECENT looking and not "duling", "banlag", etc.
3. the inside of the box is clean - not dusty and "scratchy".
4. the finish of the figure itself is good quality - the belt buckles, buttons and other small details have to be painted clean.

may mga edges na walang kulay at di masayadong pulido
madalas ung mga key chain na figure (alam ko to kasi marami ako nitong crap!!!!)

Noticed these recently.........Feb 26, 2007 at an SM Toy Kingdom. There was an Alter, Maxfactory/Goodsmile and Yamato and Playarts. I noticed though that some of their quality looks iffy ...............not sure why though.

you mean the fate testarossa (the one holding the long saber sideways), kotori shirokawa (pink haired pigtailed girl), and others? they've got proof of authenticity (sticker logo) which makes them original.

Different items bro'. I saw the elf from Shining (green bikini with wings on her head) ......Maxfactory IIRC, but the paint jobs looked smudgy, maybe those were left overs/over runs?

hmmm... maybe they're the "bad batches of the bunch" or something like that. i've checked them out myself and they look fine to me (actually im waiting for the 50% sale like the clayz bikini saber & rin).
which tk branches are they anyway? i've checked out the ones at sm north theblock and megamall.

ask lng....why the bases of the ffx-2 yuna 1/6 posted on the net has a black base...others have "wooden styled" base...? what's the difference? which of them is orig or not? thanks

hehe.. well i used to believe that too. pero lately there were overruns (production excesses) that were sold there. they are rare though, you need someone inside 168 mall to give you tips when such items arrive. |

ahh ic but technically these overruns are also orig rin naman, havent been to 168 mall in a while might check it out coz theyre saying there are a bunch of orig advent children stuff

Can anyone confirm for me if ALTER's 1/5 Ayanami Rei Plugsuit PVC is already available at 168 Mall/Divisoria? If so, is it a bootleg or an export overrun? If it's an overrun then ;D ;D ;D otherwise...  And how much?
