"There is no such thing as Impossible" - Greed of FMA
Almost all items are made from China nowadays, not only toys but also stuffs used in our daily lives. So there is always a high chance of having a fake/pirated/BL copies of an item.
Items get BL copies after a year or two of their released dates. If you have noticed, most BL'ed items are from past released items. It's rare to see newly released items to have BL copies. If you see a newly released item being sold for a cheap price, there is a possiblity that the item is a reject/smuggled.
All I can say is, "buy stuffs from trusted sellers and distributors". If you're gonna buy from e-bay, always look for the picture of "The actual item" he's selling. If only a reference image is posted, try to ask for the picture of the actual item.

Oh yeah about that sticker. Not all figures, have that Hollographic Sticker of Hobby Japan. If it's half priced, good thing you didn't buy it.
Another tip, if you wll buy past released items, research first. Search for reviews showing the Box details and the details of the item itself.

Ouch DOA... That's the BLer's favorite title.. @_@. I see a lot of them in Divisoria every time I spy in the BL haven there. Different color variations of Kasumi both standing and bending pose.
Are you after Kasumi? Better buy from HLJ, but you have to sacrifice some money for customs taxes when it arrives.

this is the model I'm looking..it's long sold out and it needs 10 order request to start manufacturing again.. a BL will be enough for me since it'll take decades to get 10 people wanting this..there're already 3 requests at hobbyfan but I think it'll take a little more time to get the other 7..excluding me that'll make 6 more people..

1/6 I guess..no scale from hobbyfan..it costs 4k including the shipping..it's way back 2006 when it's still available..there's no manufacturer details since it's just a garage kit.. clothes removable too..

Ahhh. So that's why it's not a common site in the BL haven. A garage kit.

yup so probably they're the ones making the kit itself..I've been wanting that item eversince highschool but I just manage to earn some money last year so I didn't manage to make track of it's progress untill recently..I was hoping at least a BL may become available but I guess it'll be impossible since it's made-to-order item..

Just curious guys, since I'm new here, but I prefer to paint my own figures. I sometimes buy even the bootlegs and re-paint them with my airbrush.
