sorry bro. since i saw your kits with primer, i thought you're going to A/B it. sorry. hehehe. ;D
still, a clean rendered paint and clean panel lines is not bad. that's what i prefer as of now.

that's ok. like i said, i'm new to this whole prime, sand and paint deal (with Gunpla) but with miniatures, i have pretty much a year's worth of experience.

argh! this weather is killing me. all i can do is cut from sprue. sand and wait. when i think it's sunny for priming, it gets cloudy and rains.

a small mishap happened when i was building the feet: by mistake i placed the wrong polycaps into both heels (where the pointy part goes). arrrrgggggg!!! 2 problems arise: 1. it's too big for the peg of each heel to fit snugly 2. i have to find another pair of the same polycaps so i don't come up short. solutions: 1. fill the larger polycap with putty and insert the heel peg, making the necessary sanding and filling later (crap, more delay ;D ) 2. good thing i save all the leftover polycaps from my older kits. ;D ** note to self: no more Gunpla building marathons (to think i already learned my lesson after building my PG WZC for 12 hours straight) if i have a PG i would do the same thing.. ;D

heh... i've made a fatal mistake of attatching the left and right foot of a particular kit - eventually i attached the sockets facing downwards. after finishing the lower legs and connecting them to the feet, i was shocked that it was the other way around... eventually i managed to correct it except for a minor broken peg...
lesson learned: ALWAYS CHECK THE MANUAL'S DRAWINGS WHEN CONNECTING TWO PIECES TOGETHER.

AMEN to that v2... its a bit frustrating to disassemble parts and you end up braking something. happened to me at least twice. heh... i've made a fatal mistake of attatching the left and right foot of a particular kit - eventually i attached the sockets facing downwards. after finishing the lower legs and connecting them to the feet, i was shocked that it was the other way around... eventually i managed to correct it except for a minor broken peg... lesson learned: ALWAYS CHECK THE MANUAL'S DRAWINGS WHEN CONNECTING TWO PIECES TOGETHER.

or we could test fit first before gluing them and snap-fitting permanently.

@ maldit0: never again *sigh* @ V2 Buster and UJ: amen to that! @ snap_0714: i'm glad i'm not alone in this. @ no3ljm: yup. and like i said, if not for my Gunpla marathon, i would not have forgotten that. ;D
Oh, i finally fixed both problems: found 2 extra polycaps and saved myself a headache by just wrapping good ole masking tape around the peg to fit in the hole in the heel. Ain't Gunpla modelling and a bit of ingenuity wonderful?? whee! ^_^
