2 cents:
i like the shade of blue they used here and the details on the face is great. articulation is fine and finally...FINALLY...they integrated the folding wings to save space. i wish they could have done that with the previous KMF's.
my gripes...putting the 'spinning' slash harken parts is a b*tch. one wrong move then...crack.
just be careful when you're placing those in.
another gripe is the height...it's short! haha! it's not that i have against anything short coz i'm short too but i was expecting this to be taller. i should have done a comparison shot too. ;D
last gripe...the pricetag...a little too pricy for a KMF in my opinion.
overall, you could pass on this fig. i was just a fan of the pilot Li Xingke that's why i got it. ;D

i just love this incarnation of the Exia. it's all f*cked up but still not ready to give up.
it may have had only about 30seconds of fame during the 1st episode of the 2nd season for Gundam 00, but it's debut will forever be remembered.
now let's get on with the fig...IT'S MISSING A LOT OF PARTS! duh! haha! ;D
i just love the fig, period. paintjob and articulation, are superb. not much on the gimik and accessories though.
last gripe...it's an 'exclusive'...ugh...nuff said! ;D
overall, if you got the dough...go for it.

wait, what?!?! something cracked??? ...the local price for the Shen Hu puzzled me too... shoulda been around the same price as the SEITEN, if not lower... it could be b'coz the Php-JPY rate took a dive during it's pre-order period?

anyway, congrats...

... just got news that i'll be getting my Exia Repair just before Chinese New Year ... just a couple more weeks and i'll be joining the Exia exclusive club, hehe... and btw, looking at the Exia-R-R2 comparison pic, it looks like the neck keeps getting longer and longer, LOL. ;D

hey i bought a Tamashii Stage 3, it was a lemon grrrrrrrrrrrr. after using it with albion overnight , the parts cracked. i felt like burning 700 pesos for nothing T_T. i hope bandai could make stands made of durable plastic the next time. i wonder if the hasegawa stands are good???

poring: yikes! too bad amigo. i only use the Tamashii Stage 3 for my pics. i use the Tamashii Stage 2 for display coz they're more stable.
im not sure about the hasegawa stands though.

anyways...

here's my first official work product using my airbrush (ab). i wasn't able to do any extreme poses cuz i was afraid of paint chipping. i just took some shots with different angles and lighting. hehe.

i just had fun building the kit...it took a lot of hard work and learning to finally get this kit done! whew! as far as the ab goes, i love it. so if you're a modeler and thinking about getting the Tamiya Basic Spraywork...i say go for it, highly recommended.

i'll probably take a few weeks off from kit building before i start building my entry for the PG Groupbuild 2.0. haha! ;D

@m0nst3r: the Stage 1 and Stage 2 have locking mechanisms for the stands ala revoltech joints, while the Stage 3 has none. i never did recommend the Stage 3 for display, i only use them for my pics.

it's battery as well as compressor operated..well the battery's life is quite long to what I've heard when I bought my sprayworks at lils..and they really recommend to get the dual action which costs almost the same as Mr. Hobby's AB...
