r2d2t2: when i got this it had a power supply with the package. in other words it cost me an extra 600bucks i think. i haven't tried using it via battery.

I shouldn't have been so greedy that day and should have asked first before buying. hmpf... well i guess i'll have to be more careful using the spares. tsk tsk tsk

by the way could you do a comparison between the black and the clear one, if possible? i'm still looking for a good stand for the lancelot.

the Stage 1 and Stage 2 have locking mechanisms for the stands ala revoltech joints, while the Stage 3 has none. i never did recommend the Stage 3 for display, i only use them for my pics.

i am currently using the Stage 2 to display my RD Lancelot Albion in my display cabinet.

the main reason i got this magazine is to get inspiration for the upcoming PG Groubuild 2.0.
since it had a Unicorn on the cover, i assume it had to do something with the MG Unicorn

Gundam. to my surprise...it was a scratch built bust. so i guess i wont be getting any

inspiration from here on building my MG Unicorn.


on the bright side though, it had a lot articles about the MG Gouf 2.0. this will be very

useful when i get a hold of building that kit.




lesson learned: don't judge a book by it's cover.

this is a solid RD fig. it has a decent pricetag, great articulation, easy transformation,

and a nice paintjob.
the only issue was this fig being 'back-heavy', which is very common with the Side KMF line.


overall, i highly recommend this fig.

2 cents:
if you already have the RD Masurao, the RD Susanowo is like a deja vu of it's predecessor.

it almost has the exact gimiks.
it's still an awesome fig, no question about it. i still had a lot of fun playing with the

action poses. but i still prefer the Masurao over Susanowo mainly because of the color

scheme.
overall, it's a great fig but you could pass on this if you want to. get the Masurao

instead.

gotta love the gold finish on the tristan. did it have a dedicated stand or just an adapter? and i wonder what the "extra clear" head is for... so would you be getting the divider variant as well?

V2: the gold finish is indeed splendid. it didn't have any dedicated stand or adapter. the 'extra clear' head is for the simulation of the Tristan's first appearance in the series. it can be seen here at this vid at 0:57.


the Tristan Divider looks OWSOM! ;D
i still have to think about if i'm getting it or not. ;D
