@ omega supreme: when i got the Eva 02, the joints were very tight especially with the torso and groin area. i guess my Eva 01 just had qc issues, it wouldnt make sense if they purposely made the torso joint loose. ;D @j.sonic: haha! there is that minor paint bleed on the red chin of my F91 though...but it aint that noticeable.  GET THOSE EVA'S TOO!!! haha! ;D |

@ GN: RD's + SHF's = Eva. since you love both toylines, both Eva's won't disappoint. as for the F91, if you're not a fan of the anime...you could skip it...but if you look at it from a toy collector's point of view...you'll truly enjoy the F91 fig. |

ola amigos! i've been waiting for these figs to arrive for a veeeeeeeeeery long time. finally...i got them in my filthy hands.  i just want to share my 2 cents on these figs. up first... SHF Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker out of the box  stand alone   Cyclone  Joker  scarf   henshin!   signature pose    Rider Kick!  JOKER EXTREME!  epic stance  2 cents:first off, i just love the packaging. green fonts on a black box looks good. as for the fig itself...huwaw...green is my favorite color and the shade of green they used for this fig is awesome. the accessories on this fig are just sufficient enough to perform the signature poses. it was a long wait for this fig and thank God i finally have it. overall, its a great fig but nothing really mind blowing about it. up next... RD Unicorn (Destroy Mode) out of the box  stand alone   armed with the shield and beam rifle  armed with the gatling gun  beam saber (i still dont get why its clear )   ala Gundam vs Gundam Next pose  poses with the beam rifle    the notorious gatling gun   it could be separated into two!   bazooka   i gave the bazooka to my Unicorn (Unicorn Mode) so it won't look that boring ;D  side by side with the Unicorn Mode  ala OVA pose  2 cents:now that was a fun fig to play with. i like the fact that this mode of the Unicorn has more gimiks and accessories. the gatling gun alone is a pure winner, i never thought that it could separate into two. articulation wise it had no problems, good thing Bandai implemented the gimik of being able to pull down the legs so it bend backwards. good job Bandai! my only gripe...why the heck are the beam sabers clear?!?!?!  cost cutting perhaps? anyways, if you are on a tight budget and want an RD representation of the Gundam Unicorn, go for this mode. overall, its a great fig and i highly recommend it. that's it for now amigos! thanks for looking! cheers! ;D |

the unicorn's beam sabers used to be thick in GvGN+ and looks like Epion's beam saber in size..that's wierd they wore down the sabers to a very thin one..maybe 00 inspired??

try spraying clear red with 60% clear pink if they have a clear pink..or try a clear+clear red from hobby color..a little mobification will not harm..^^

yup that'll be the best compensation for the plain sabers..lol like bandai gave some beam sabers on some 00 kits...they don't XD and I have to spray some clear red paint on some cutted accetates to give beam sabers for my HG 00 gundam..

totally missed your reviews on the F91 and Eva-01, just saw them today. as always, awesome pics and poses! I get your take on the F91 from a collector's POV... it does look to be a really handsome fig and very well made. As for the Eva-01, i was thinking of getting one up until i heard of the qc issue w/ the torso. it's the only Eva i like (only head design that appeals to me). cool new sig, BTW... but it would be more appropriate if you change your sig to this - farm5.static.flickr.com/4054/4641178098_f4e5cf101b_o.jpghahaha! j/k ;D |
