Guys just wondering how do you guys modified your Gundam kits to make it in a whole new look? What kind or type of modifications did you make on your kit?

depends what you need... you can kitbash or create new parts using plaplate or junk parts from previous kits...
and then there's epoxy putty to make one-off piece and add onto the existing part to change profile/size/ etc.
there were the mook called How to Build Gundam by HJ and How to Scratchbuild Gundam several years ago in Japan... to name a few...

Epoxy putty is one of the most used for modification, kitbashing, and of course, scratch building.
It really depends on what kind of epoxy putty you will use, whether its a quick type or the standard one/basic type. And there are lots of putty available. Though I never tried to change my model kit's look, I just used them for repairing and fixing.

Where do you guys usually buy putties? Mostly, you can buy putties on hobby shops. Also, on ace hardwares, they are selling some epoxy putty but maybe not tamiya brands.
