Ikabod,
Wow pre shading kagad ang gagawin mo? galing paturo naman pag nagawa mo. So far kasi basic airbrushing lang alam ko eh. Baka pede mo naman ishare nalalaman mo sa pre shading.

ay si sir dj8 ang tanungin mo dyan men, yan ang expert sa ganyan. . . although can't see hm around, malamang eh mag poject yun. . .
as far as i know, it''s like you go paint first yung shadows mo and other weathering effects, before you start covering it with the base colors. . .
di ba ganun yun? to come up with lighter shades. kesa daw if you color with base paint muna then you go spray the corners for shadowing eh you'll end up with heavy shades naman.
haven't really got to do it, although done some simulation microsoft paint ;D kaya want to try my luck with airbrushing. . .

ikabod: i think that's what they call pre shading... made famous by max watanabe. we already a thread here for that and the max watanabe's website is in it too... he used a SD gundam to demonstrate the technique hehehe astig nga eh

Pre shading = Applying light-colored paint over a dark base paint. Post shading = Applying dark-colored paint (usually 'smoke') to highlight edges/corners over a white/light base paint. NOTE: Others refer pre shading as "Max Style" of painting since it was made famous by Gundam modeler extraordinaire Max Watanabe. Hmm, I recall posting the site either here or in the old GT board.
