never ever apply thinner on joints especially when they're assembled. The pressure applied between the two parts plus thinner seeping in the plastic joints is a bad combination The leg joint of my MG infinite justice to it's groin became brittle and broke off because of that another is never apply too much paint to the joints. Too much paint makes it hard to insert to the holes. Test fit the parts first if it's tight already without paint or not. This is the direct result to my first paragraph oh yeah another one. Never force any articulated parts to it's limits. You might break something as a result. Better check reviews first so you know the extent of the articulation of the kit or check your assembly since you might have made a mistake along the way.

Gundam Kyrios... I forgot to apply the sticker decal on the chest, and I accidentally placed that clear plastic lens. I didn't know what to do, and so I decided to take it apart again, only to break the front body in half. Fortunately, even though I haven't used any glue to put it back, it's not obvious. I just had to use permanent marker to color that plastic thing on his chest. (I'm not even sure if I made my story clear... LOL)

Never lose parts specially small ones i lost the chest part on exia the blue thing and i tried to replace it by cutting the flat part of the runner and copy the shape and glue it with mighty bond it looks good from far away but up close you can see that its thin haha and there were white dust on the clear GN core because of the mighty bond >.>

My progressive list of mistakes. I just started last year and still learning.... First kit: MG RX178 MK2 TITANS
- Use a nail cutter to cut items off the runners. - A mind shift of building the kit as fast as I can. - Use a cheap rusty ordinary cutter to remove sprues. - Cut all of the parts from frame without following the diagram on manual. - Did not use a tape for the rub on decal, created broken, split decals. - Use a spray paint near the surface of the kit, creating a circle of paint, uneven and paint bubbles. - Use industrial grade paint thinner, corroded a part of my kit.
As far as it goes, the list above are those things I am not doing now. But still best decisions come from bad decisions but still enjoying the craft is what keeps me going.

here's a new one: if you're planning to strip paint from your gunpla don't use industrial grade thinners... It'll melt them in seconds
