Ah I see, thanks for the info there. The price of the original fig is the same as the bootleg, their making a scam out of it. And reading this "pahku" seems disturbing to me I'm having negative interpretation on it.

I got my L Nendoroid from him and since he's the only one selling the item for 500 I couldn't care less...
I don't want to sound insensitive but online purchases are always a matter of "Buyer Beware".
Pahku has a store if you can get to his location, then you can judge his items yourself. It wouldn't hurt to research a bit before buying, if you get to the right links then you can get details on how and what you should look for in fake figures because those fakers are getting more sophisticated than before. The least that could happen is getting an item that didn't pass quality control but is sold as nonetheless (Movie Transformers had factory overruns that didn't pass QC and are sold with almost similar box but with not the correct bar code).
If you want an imitation check his place out because he's selling them at lower the price over other stores that sell those fakes (like the ones mentioned in a thread before)...

I got my sephiroth and cloud playarts from pahku.com before and quality is the same as comic alley. He even gave me a discount. It's bootleg, I agree but quality is ok and the price is really cheap.
Ang orig price nang playarts more than 2K pero nabili ko lang yung dalawa nang 2.3K. Cloud has translucent hair and sephiroth has no yellow eye liner, hindi katulad ng nabili ko dati sa comic alley where i always buy before and nagbebenta din ng bootlegs.
Ngayon practical na ako, duon na ko sa mas mura.

Up to you guys if you're fine with the feeling that your collection is fake even if you did get it really cheap.
Btw, CA is also known to sell fake merchandise so it's not accurate to compare the quality of products to what they sell.

I managed to compare and see what the fakes look personally and with Google's help, so I suggest doing the same research before delving into the world of fakes. My L Nendoroid is fake because I don't want to ruin an original for my project, and at the time PU was the only seller that's lower than the competition. CA and BT are selling fake Nends at P700+ while PU is only P500. CU and BT are selling the fakes along with originals but checking them properly will prove beneficial. Last time I saw was BT selling an EVA Fraulein at less than 1K... (? figure was wearing white jumpsuit) |

Kaizer Sales and Bestoys/Jeebs also sell bootleg Play Arts, not just the afforementioned stores.
Malvin (Greattoys) and Pats (Wasabi) are exemplary, they sell only originals.

I wonder where they get their stuff... there's probably somewhere in Manila where those toys are sold lower than the mentioned stores... I mean, a booth in St. Francis has those stuff, so they should be getting these from somewhere... or probably just a cheaper dealer...

Ganethere's also other seller in ebay like raredeal, rarefaction, and anime.city that distributes the same bootleg toys. i just bought a bleach set from PU and compared to the other set i bought in raredeal before, they're both the same quality and box. i agree it's being sold here somewhere at whole price... hikari03it's the buyer's responsibility to ask first if the item his buying is bootleg or not, im sorry but i see how you whine here in GT. i met PU for a couple of times now and he's a really nice guy. how old are you anyway? i think you're too childish to even start this thread and start bash talking other stores for your own mistake. i suggest you should grow up and stop bleeding in the corner. your judgement is clouded by your ego. peace!
