love that last shot! ;D nice review... i was tempted to get this when i read on MW that this was 50% off on hobby search. but then Graham recently mentioned that a Yamato 1/60 Blazer will definitely be made (plus i prefer the 19F's head and color scheme). now i'm thinking i may skip the 1/60 Kai for the Blazer . too expensive to get both . btw, you might be interested to add the RD Q-Rea to your other RD Frontier valks - www.hlj.com/product/BAN959023

Thanks mon. I actually have the Q-Rea on the way from HLJ.
I think I'm gunning for Hi-Metal for the non-Max units that I want like the 19 Kai. Though when it comes to VF-1, Yamato still gets my vote so I still don't plan on getting any of the VF-1's from the Hi Metal series.

Yeah. Actually the one I got from you were sold to a friend since I already have one. Just ended up with Miria's 1J and the Regult (but sold them off as well). I think I'll be good with 1 Revo VF-1, but yeah I'm kinda curious about Roy's 1S and thinking about getting the non-transforming Revoltech one or the Hi-Metal.

Just got this yesterday. Finally got it after waiting for like 10 months since it was released. Bandai VF Hi-Metal
VF-19改 Fire Valkyrie fromMacross 7The year is 2045 and the Macross 7 fleet journeys across the galaxy. The fleet soon encounters an alien race called the Protodeviln, and the fleet was threatened by these aliens who are after the life force known as Spiritia. While the UN Spacy forces fend off the attacking Protodeviln in their first contact, Nekki Basara, the guitar player of band Fire Bomber, flies into space on a customized variant of the VF-19. The VF-19改, also called the "Fire Valkyrie" has very light armaments and it is equipped with a modified gun pod which fires speaker pods instead of live ammo. Through these speaker pods, Basara sings to the while piloting his Valkyrie. The Fire Valkyrie was then assigned to Sound Force after the UN Spacy recognized its effectiveness against the enemy. The Fire Valkyrie continued participating in the battles of the Protodeviln War until it was destroyed beyond repair, but not until Basara has defeated Geperunitch and made the Protodeviln learn of the creation of Spiritia by the power of song.Fighter mode: Gerwalk mode: Battroid mode: Well, being the first release in the new VF Hi-Metal line, I was already expecting this one to come with flaws. True enough, I did encounter flaws such as the shoulders not locking flush with the legs in Fighter mode and very, very loose hands (except for the gun hand) for Battroid, among others. Nonetheless, it's undestandable since it is the first release and the issues have already been addressed and fixed in the subsequent release of the VF-19S. I like this toy a lot since it's the best rendition of the Fire Valkyrie so far and with it being around 1/3 the possible price of the upcoming 1/60 by Yamato next year, it's still a good option for those who couldn't dish out such amount. For me, I'm going for Battroid display on this one since I like the somewhat different, less chunkier looks. I also look forward to getting the Option Parts and Sound Boosters in time. So all in all, it's a good toy with some flaws, but still looking awesome for display. And of course, the fanboy in me just had to make this slideshow: Thanks for looking!

Anyway, here's a surprising buy. I actually had the original 6 figures from the set but seeing another set being sold including the secret figure, I just had to get it. So I bought that set, ended up with duplicates of the 6 figures and the secret which is... CM's Macross Collection Part 3
Maximilian Jenius Flight Suitfrom Macross: Do You Remember Love And with that, I finally complete the Macross Collection Part 3 figures. Back row (left to right):Maximilian Jenius Flight Suit (secret figure, from Macross DYRL) Isamu Dyson (from Macross Plus) Maximilian Jenius Zentradi (from Macross DYRL) Front row (left to right):Flower Girl (from Macross 7) Shammy Milliome (from Macross DYRL) Roy Focker in VF-1 cockpit (from Macross DYRL) Lynn Minmay (from Macross DYRL) The secret figure is actually very hard to find and very sought-after by Macross fans mainly because it's Max, and there's a lot of Max fans out there. I'd say this set is really a nice buy for Max fans since you get two figures of him, and the Zentradi one can fit in the Yamato Queadluun-Rau. Really nice set and highly recommended for Macross fans. While Valkyries are one of the most prominent icons of Macross, I believe that I should also get more of these trading figures since it's also the characters that give life to the series. Thanks for looking!

I got bored, so I took a photo. I really like the way CM's Macross Collection figures blend in well with Yamato Valkyries when it comes to photos. Here's Max Jenius with his VF-1S Valkyrie based from the Macross: DYRL movie. Thanks for looking!
