This is purely mind-blowing! Spider-man 3 will be another box-office... this franchise is really one of the best and it's getting better and better. Sam Raimi should have directed the Live Transformers! I hope M. Bay dont ruin it.

Brace yourself coz this franchise from what I'ved read will stretch up to 6 sequels. readon. www.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/2004-03-25-spider-man_x.htm"Spider-Man is one we're counting on," says Al Teicher, owner of Teicher Enterprises, a nine-theater chain based in Troy, Ohio. "It can get everyone excited for summer. If that's big, then the whole season can be big, too. I believe in him." So does Sony Pictures, which is taking the biggest gamble on a film series since New Line bankrolled TheLord of the Rings trilogy. The studio plunked down a reported $200 million for Spider-Man 2, and executives confirmed for USA TODAY that a third installment already is in the works. The third film, which will again include director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, is slated to hit screens May 4, 2007. In addition, Sony executives are looking at the possibility of as many as six Spider-Man movies, which would make it second only to James Bond as an enduring action series. Those high hopes have been floating around for years. Shortly after Spider-Man finished its theatrical run in 2002 — having netted sparkling reviews, $403 million and the fifth spot among all-time moneymakers — studio executives gathered to discuss everything that went wrong.
