i have a Venom venom wont make his full appearance until Spiderman 4. based on the trailer it seems the main focus of the story is Sandman, Harry and the symbiote story arc. I dont think they're gonna be able to compress everything in the movie right away. yeah. i agree. Wait a minute .... have a question ... did Marry Jane marries Peter Parker on Spider Man 2? .... nope. saw it again last night in the new trailer, pete said, "I want to marry MJ..." |

The twist of having Sandman the real culprit to Uncle Ben's murder is really interesting and somewhat deceiving -- I think it there's more to it than what the trailer has revealed. Score another one for Sam Raimi! He really knows how to cast the right characters! Thomas Haden Church is really perfect for the role. Did you see on the last part of the trailer when parker was somewhat reaching out? Like almost begging? We'll I downloaded the clip and guess what? Spidey's neck was choked by Venom's webbing!  |

c'mon guys. after 2 Spider-Man movies, you're still not fond of Kirsten Dunst? ;D she may not look like a Super Model but she sure is a HOT BABE. hehehe.
btw, can't wait to see Bryce Dallas Howard in Gwen Stacy trademark looks.

It must had a reason. BTW, the original comics came from Secret Wars 1, not from outer space. Only the animated series made it look like it came from space. yup, the symbiote first appeared on the Secret Wars I comic books back in the 80's. and since, the movie will not have the space-themed Secret Wars, my guess is they will loosely based that on the animation origin story.
part 2 featured John Jameson, so maybe there's a tie-up story, same like the animation origin, on the symbiote in the upcoming 3rd sequel.
to answer why the symbiote specifically picked 'Peter' we cannot answer that one yet. just one guess comes to mind though. i think the symbiote feeds on hate & anger, right. so maybe it senses Peter's anger when he finds out that the killer of his Uncle Ben is alive (trailer shows that Sandman is the real killer). now still base on the trailer, we still can't tell how the symbiote end up in Pete's bedroom.
