There's a lot of chemistry between Kristen and Tobey that's why Sam Raimi picked her. Carmen Electra is too old for Tobey while Jessica Alba is too d**n fine for her. God did you see Jessica in Idle Hands? Whoa... she's one perfect woman.

Spiderman 3 is awesome...
the only problems i see in this movie are these...
Venom is supposed to be Eric Brock (did i get the spelling right?) Peter Parker's classmate/bully during his high school years..or is this movie going to let Mary-Jane Watson's supposed husband the Venom Role...(the astronaut)...
What ever happened to the Hood and mask of the Hobgoblin?..im pretty sure he has one...
Since SM:1...How come Peter Parker's web come out from his body? In the comics Stan Lee made, Peter Parker had some sort of device "clamped" on his wrists to shoot the web...
well..im pretty sure this is going to be one heck of a movie!...

to answer some of your insights:
Eddie Brock is a journalist at the Daily Globe, rival of the Daily Bugle. but with the movie version, we still don't know if he's a rival photographer or even if he's working on the Daily Bugle like Pete. or if they follow the storyline of Eddie Brock on the comicbook. he became popular for his exclusive stories on the killer Sin-Eater. when the authorities forced him to reveal his killer's identity, it turned out that Spider-Man caught the real killer and that his killer's identity was just a fake -- who's just making up stories based on the real killer's accomplishments. so Eddie got fired from his job in disgrace. no publishers willing to hire him. after that, it's a domino effect on the hatred for Spidey until his merging on the rejected alien symbiote. 'match made in hell'. ;D
Sam Raimi states before that Harry will not be referred to the second Green Goblin or the Hobgoblin. but later Sam Raimi christened Harry Osborn as the New Goblin. but it's not official yet if he will be called like that in the upcoming movie. 
about the organic web shooters. i agree with checkmate. how come an 16 yr old HS student can invent a web shooters, caniesters and the formula of making web fluids? it makes more sense for his body to produce organic webs. paano kung maubusan sya nang web canisters habang nagwe-websling?
edit: found this info over the net. "Eddie Brock will be a photographer at the Daily Bugle who has grown increasingly jealous toward Peter Parker, who beats Brock to photography gigs and has attracted the attention of Brock's girl, Gwen Stacy. The symbiote bonds with him to become Venom after Spider-man abandons it." so Gwen will be Brock's girl. that's a new twist.

Gwen Stacy (in the comics) died on the Brooklyn (?) bridge at the hands of the (Green) Goblin, and Spiderman forever blamed himself for it. Maybe.. Who knows... Gwen (SM4) dies by the Goblin's hand and Eddie Brock'll blame Spidey for it, hence another reason for Venom to "eat Spiderman's spleen!"
Spiderman 3 looks to one Helluva Summer Blockbuster... And er... I also thought Venom would start messing with Spidey's world in the 4th movie... Oh well.

In prespective to the original story, after secret wars, Brock was working as a photographer on the rival of the Bugle. He is way older than Parker and he bully him for that. And do you know that Brock are already devorse that time. His x-wife become she-venom on some of the parts of the spin-offs. Anyways after the death of Gwen Stacy, yes thats true Peter became so depressed(read Spider-man:Blue) and MJ knows about their previous relationship. Instead of becoming jelous she became more conforting to his husband the comics is more mature not to be read by kids ofcourse In the ultimate version Brock use to be best friends with Peter because of the accident on both of their fathers experiment upon developing the alien suit. It inhibits Brock, and of some point of the story Venom was captured by SHIELD and the interesting part of it was they developed the suit and try multiply it. But it needs a host...Whose the candidate? well you guess it... Peter become the unstopable insane carnage. FIGHT HERE, FIGHT THERE, end of season, new idea and prints. After that long story eventually another spin-off it inhibits another one Spideman foes, Mac Gargan a.k.a. Scorpion( The design looks like spawn from afar ) |
