@ GENJI- 1-10, 10 being the highest, I give it a 7 Thanks, that should be an interesting experience... I didn't get a "copy" since the alien subs are in Russian I think just like the one I experienced watching Up... ;D just watched UFC 102 today, & had fun watching that 7-second KO, XD Sweet that was bad ass MMA... I was a bit disappointed with Viloria's fight so fortunately UFC 102, the best show on free tv last night, was on... ;D I didn't quite appreciate the 7 sec. KO, but I did enjoy watching the second best KO with Nate Marquardt vs. Demian Maia. That was when Nate was prepared with a really powerful right hand punch (some say it's a right hook), based on his Orthodox stance and body position, he hit Maia who came flying off the floor and down the floor. Maia didn't anticipate a counter like that and it cost him... And Nate got a $60K bonus for that fight... sweet ;D The most surprising fight was that of Mark Munoz a fellow Pinoy making his way (I think) up into the UFC Octagon.

Gane= nate had to pawn maia early otherwise he might had a taste of maia's jujitsu, which is awesome & also our fellow half filipino guy vera also won but not in a spectacular manner Well yah... Maia is a formidable fighter but he could have avoided that punch easily, but then again it was unexpected in any MMA fight... the fact that Nate even pulled back would signify a really hard blow and surprisingly managed to hit Maia on the vulnerable side of the head which could knock you out or worse... (based on Shamrock's video advice on Youtube, no not Ken) Well you'd have to give it to the man, the other guy is huge and he's had a few loses and went on a slump before that fight. Last I've watched is a marathon re-viewing of Transformers Animated S2 and hopefully S3 soon... ;D

More Recent List - Transformer Animated S3 - I did a marathon that lasted 'til 1:30 because I started early... I know the series met it's end but it would be nice to have it for another season or a mini series perhaps... Lots of homage to older series in almost every episode, nice... ;D - District 9 - Typical of the topic, you can't summarize it enough to tell everyone that this is one great movie in terms of storyline. The visuals reminds me of how Macross/Robotech is quite possible in real life settings. The movie is making great strides that the director is now saying a sequel is possible, now possibly we'll know what happened after 3 years... ;D - G Force - Nice movie and one of the stars is the actor from The Hangover... this is also one reason why you can't just put actors in a cg movie, some people just don't know how to act properly with visual cues... it's a hit or miss... I will suggest this movie for those who want their kids have a good time in the cinema but for regular viewing, I'd give it 3 out of 5...

Final Destination 4 - This is the 3rd of the series that I've seen (I missed the 3rd movie ;D) and apart from the 1st movie I thought the horrific scenes in part 2 were great but this one takes the cake... Having been desensitized by the series Movie Magic I can honestly say I've been watching these movies grinning and sometimes laugh in amazement. I can watch these movies while eating. The series are merely entertainment in value, but if you want to be scared I still like the Japanese Horror movies anytime...
If you can't handle the carnage it would be best to avoid this movie....
I give this movie 4 out of 5 ;D

Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie Only one of the few tagalog movies I would dare go into a movie theater... ;D I am a Bubble Ganger, Hole in the Wall fan, and to say the least a big fan of Michael V. (in comedy) even in his ABC5 gag show before moving in to GMA 7. YaA:TSBM - is not the greatest but it is the safest movie for the whole family because a lot of the jokes are toned down but not to the point that it killed them. My main gripe however is why they didn't make Francine Prieto Angelina's mom in the movie, since she plays the role on TV. Minor gripe, because i don't know if it's the movie or the sound system, but why didn't they make the movie in stereo sound? It's like watching a giant TV with a cheap left and right speakers with little subwoofer... Enjoy and watch it in any cinema but be weary of Star Mall because the movie is not in 16:9 ratio widescreen so it overlaps the screens. I give this movie 3.5/5

After my long battle with late night mini marathon of Keroro Gunso 1-75, I'm still hoping to get more since it's also a battle to find this anime on my limited time online... ;D
The Echo
A US version of the local movie from way back when. The delay shows the sacrifice this movie will have to face since it still has the year stamped in the end at 2007, and that long time waiting was that according to some reports that the producers were having a hard time getting a distributor to release their movies.
Personally I missed a lot of scenes when I watched the tv version of "Sigaw" so I couldn't really compare the two. But compared to my fave "The Ring" and "The Grudge", "The Echo" has it's frights you wouldn't want to watch it on an empty and dark place alone.
I would say that the company seem to have gotten an idea from this movie for a subplot for "The Grudge 3" which btw is available on youtube if you really want it badly. The Grudge 3 is not as scary as the original Japanese Grudge movies because often used the shock technique where as The Echo minimized this to a single scene.
The scare is there, but it's not as scary as the Japanese versions of "The Ring" (all except O) and "The Grudge".
It's not as gory as Final Destination series, but it's worth the ticket. I just wished they'd have the movie shown early when it could have fared better in the box office.
I give this movie 3/5 because it's a lot entertaining with a popcorn...

For the week old movies: 2012 - great popcorn movie, the only thing I come to think as cheesy is the remaining "ark" part of the movie. Loads of cliche scenes but the great visuals keep you stuck to your seat 'til your butt cheeks ache... ;D Jennifer's Body - I like watching her body but the voice I didn't really appreciate in this movie, plus the net photos of her coming out of the water were not there... So the only people who have a "full" copy of that gloriosky scene would be the people behind the movie... All-in-all the movie is great, but I think it didn't get enough response to make it a really big hit. Plus lots of girls don't like their boyfriends watching Megan Fox... ;D Gamer - Go way behind the movie screens because this movie can give you motion sickness... ;D Paranormal Activity - Really creepy movie but depending on the person if this movie will really give you nightmares. Just don't take kids to this movie if you don't want that aggravation on your shoulder. And remember this IS just a movie... ;D
