Like what the title says, what have you watched recently. It can be an indie film, a play, or the movies....
Ofcourse, the recent hit movie, in the Philippines was ROTF. But yesterday I watched Harry Potter and the half blood prince.
My first reaction was, there were alot of teen girls on the movie house.
Back to the movie. The film was good. There were some elements in the book, that was altered. Example was Prof. Slughorn. In the book, he was a fat person. In the movie, he was a thin, scared guy.
If you guys have read the book, you know Prof. Dumbledore dies. I had goosebumps on how they created the death of dumbledore.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Funny thing is I once saw a guy murmuring Septum Sempra (I think that's right) inside National Bookstore and I couldn't figure out where i heard those words before; until i saw the movie...
They also removed a lot of the trips through memory lane looking for clues in finding the horcruxes... and a lot of the action in the book before Prof. Dumbledore die were simplified... but probably it's a case of how you read and imagine the situation. All-in-all I find it the least action packed Harry Potter movie so far which was I wondering how they will pull off after reading the ebook a few years back. Now the last installment is going to be quite an experience on how they will pull it off...
When Megamall reduces the price on both RotF and Ice Age 3, I'll watch those again. A whopping 170 and 170 petots way too much on my movie budget... ;D

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince ;D I think it should have been entitled Harry Potter and the Half-Plot Movie Well not so much of Half-Plot since the whole plot of the book is in the movie... but it is "Half-Content" but at least not "Half-baked" and it's still "half-ass'd" with the action (?) ;D "Up" next... ;D

More than 6 hours marathon... nice... ;D The last marathon I did was last month with Gundam 00 2nd Season cut in 3 parts but the longest was December last year with Gundam Victory, the whole series in one neck breaking Gundam Heaven...
Anyway, I've recently watched Ice Age 3 in Megamall since it dropped down to 130 petot. Very nice movie and it would have been great if I could just muster watching the 3D version without breaking my wallet... ;D A lot more fun than the 2nd movie (IMHO) but it still opens up to a whole slew of new storylines...

Lethal Weapon Marathon. (not recent but the best marathon I had so far, this was last month, off from work!) For the sake of sharing, maybe you'll have a crazy time doing it too...
I was like on my diapers the 1st franchise came out and cannot even understand English yet. LOL. I was able to see Lethal weapon 4 in theaters and Lethal weapon 3 on HBO, curious on what happened on 1 and 2. So there's these DVDs and... boom! LW 1 to 4.
The best, in my opinion is LW 2, then LW 4 and LW 3 and last LW 1.
Maybe you're curious why it's called "Lethal Weapon"... ei..

Yooo Joooe!!!
Woot, that movie is crrazzy ass kinkin' from start to finish. And for the first time after watching 1st showings in Star Mall EDSA did I come tolike this cinema, why? Because for the first time in my experience they have a very clear copy of a very anticipated movie in all it's glory. Well, a slight mistake connecting two reels a few frames too late that it was quite obvious, but it didn't spoil the whole movie... If you haven't seen this yet go now before you get to the crappy moldy and very used film reels like the ice Age I saw in Mega Mall on its last showing date. I give it 4.5/5 ;D
If this movie makes it really big as they expect it to be, well see more sequels other than the next movie which I hope is in the making... much like the Transformers popularity.
This is not your fathers' G.I. Joe but they picked-up on adjusting the characters to future time line pretty well. I don't know much of the character histories but you can't deny they did real good to reintroduce the whole franchise.
Here's a list of what I recently watched: - Ponyo - from Studio Ghibli, its very cutesy and as always a very warm story from the famous studio... - The Hangover - very funny movie and a must see comedy - Ink Heart - nice movie and IMO this fills the void the last Mummy movie left in your stomach if you're a Brendan Fraser The Mummy follower. (I do hope they make a fourth movie with the original cast in the same Egyptian theme; making the third movie like the last Christopher Reeves Superman).
I'm still up to ep 17 of Keroro Gunso from the 75 ep DVD which is the best compilation to price ratio i've seen so far... ;D

G.I.JOE rise of cobra. The only scenes that I had fun were the girl-to-girl fight of the baroness and scarlett

Bruno - there's a big chance this movie will be banned or rated higher than R. Very funny but quite racy and offensive at times, IMO... avoid this if you're not into Sasha Baron Cohen's kind of comedy... but go on if you like comedy... Up - since I wouldn't be in the city when this movie opens, I beep beep beep... ;D Another great story from Pixar-Disney. This is why I love watching their films, it's more than a collection of jokes, it has heart warming story from beginning to end. I wish McD would come out with the figures... they have better quality than Jb when it comes to movie tie-in toys... ;D
