This is definitely great news! ;D I just hope that the Philippine economy will not affect the price and taxes of the toys. Highly unlikely though! Customs pa lang, malamang taga na yan!

I hope TRU will have their own distributors. If they're still going to rely on the present ones (lalo na ang lecheng Playkit na yan! ), meh.

Sweet But i hope di nila gawin like yung Cartoon network ( Tv cable wise ha just as an example.) Imagine mo, TF armada,energon, Cybertron and sum of the lattest anime are beeing shon at CN USA. Pero when it comes to our country. cartoon network asia PH, Puro walang kuwenta at bihira lng yung ok and No "transformers".

I hope it won't be like that. As you know, At SM toykingdom, they only get the toys popular with the kids. Like power rangers, and sum kiddy anime. ( And sumtimes, if we are lucky,) Gundam. and other us toylike ML, GI JOE, TF DCD c falaine...(selective nga lng)

I hope TRU will not do that same marketting scheme. Also, I hope those rare TRU exclusives will be avalible for us too. like, TF, GI JOE ect.

Problema naman dito kasi, minsan, predatory ang pricing. Yung ibang figs doon - ex. Astroboy- half lang ng RP prices. Hindi pa marked down yun. Ayun, kahit saan ngayon sa Makati, nilalangaw yung Astroboy line, hindi na nga kagandahan ang figs., mahal pa.

And TRU has REAL sale promotions. As in 30% or more discount! May 10% rebate pa! I think they hate having inventory piling up on them because new toy lines keep cropping up. It's bad business to be perceived as a mainstream toy store having old toys.

TRU in Japan gets all of its stuffs from the Japan market

same with TRU in HK and TRU in Singapore, they get stuffs from local suppliers only..

the same would most likely happen with TRU here in the Philippines
