Ditto to cmdrjanjalani. I've been to Toys R Us Singapore.......nothing much to see in their stocks. Remember back in 2002 Feb, been looking all over the island for a RID Prime and God magnus. want to know where I found one? In an independent store not much different from Malvins. All I could find were RIDs Megatron in TRU. Heck, even their video game selections were dull. Taiwan, Hongkong and Japan though, that may be a different thing. Toy Kingdom should either shape up and sell their wares in a justifiable return on investment scheme. Example....PS2 games....Data Blitz Rumble Roses Php 2,500.00, while TK Php 3,800.00....WTF? If TRU does the same, then who are they fooling then? Just to confirm this. They've just opened a new store in Suntec City which is quite large, pero ang toy lines are lousy for us collectors. Gundam kits, mas madami pa sa Mall na pinupuntahan ko sa Bugis.  I do'nt want to be the bearer of bad news, but I suggest that you all do'nt expect too much for the toy lines of TRU in the Phil. Baka kasi madismaya lang kayo.  |

maybe TOY'S R US is not eyeing on us collectors....perhaps their target market would be the 14's & below and not 14 & beyond!!! really better not to expect too much..... cheers!!!

A lot of toys in malls are obviously collector-targeted like most toys made by SOTA, NECA and MacFarlene, and we can see them in other toy stores, so I doubt they'll do something stupid and let Toy Kingdom, Kidz Station and others have all the profit made from these lines. |

San mall yan, cmnder? All I see in TK and Rob malls are cr@p. Although I saw a lot of great SICs in Mega TK, kaso the prices are for collectors nga talga. Kya as a result, TK and KS are overflowing in inventory. Who the heck would buy GC windwaker for 3,990 kung 1.6k lang sa labas. I don't know if their that greedy or dahil sa pag tax ng customs nung items. Para yatang ayaw nila magbenta. |

in addition,TRU philippine branch will put up a those self-checkout systems similar to those found at walmart stores and others here in america as a time saving measure and an alternative to conventional manned counters.and another thing,is there someone in america,who was once one of us,GT forumers knew about this? and mr zephon,TRU is an american retailer.do you remember why they originally proposed us to build their franchise in three of the US bases (clark,subic and camp john hay) in the 1980`s?

let's wait and see na lang. well, shops like GT and the like are actually our bridges to the toys that are considered as rare or exclusive only abroad.
