oh please let them open one here in cebu! ;D I do hope that great toys will open a branch here in cebu. There are no decent hobby/toy stores here in Cebu. A lot of my friends, including me, have no choice but to go to Manila just to buy the toys that we want. *sigh* When you're a hobbyist/collector Cebu's the saddest City to live in. huhuhu  |

Does TRU have insane prices for SOCs like the TK there? TK and Kid Station have insane prices. Sorry won't be able to check that for myself. Need to ask you guys. I remember TRUs in Japan have good prices over normal department stores. I could be wrong though.

;D TRU in Malaysia (KL) would be an even bigger disappointment. TRU at the Heeren, Singapore is not so hot either. There were far better deals at the recent Takashimaya sale on Orchard. TRU Hong Kong? Depends which, but I tell you, what they have at the Galleria is comparatively much better. Bottomline: TRUs cater principally to CHILDREN and adults buying for children. Adult collectors should really nurture relationships with specialty shops... like Greattoys.  ehrm, thanks for the discount on the SOCs, Malvs! |

uhmmm... its the 1/24th scale and it does cost 1.4k php (the 4 variants: AE86, FC3S, FD3S, R32) Weeh! P1.4K lang!  I'll save up and hope they'll still be there when I go back to Manila in the future. delta408 & maldit0: You guys are right when you mentioned that Cebu is avery lonely place for toy collectors. I went around last Monday Aug 8 to SM Cebu and Metro Ayala. Sad to say not much to see if you're a toy collector sigh...  |

my fellow cebu-based toy enthusiasts and collectors....good news guys...
at last there's a new and first toys/hobbies shop for collectors in cebu.....the shop is called HOBBY SHAFT and its located at the ground floor near Kodak in Banilad Town Center (near Gaisano Countrymall) in Banilad...ive been there last saturday and wow....its like heaven...its only a small shop but hey i saw a lot of toys/collections/busts.....they got LOTR, Marvel and The Matrix life-size busts and replicas and movie scenes figures...Transformers toys and i think i saw Macrosses and Gundams......
i saw a Spiderman and Green Goblin busts which is not that big pero i liked it when i saw it...but it costs 32 thousand bucks...wow
check it out my fellow cebu-based toy hobbyists....
i hope Great Toys is next to open here in cebu and i really hope Robinsons Cebu would also have TRU
